   Read the passage · Al-Anbiyaa 83–112

   ۞ وَأَيُّوبَ إِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُۥٓ أَنِّى مَسَّنِىَ ٱلضُّرُّ وَأَنتَ أَرْحَمُ ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ٨٣

   And [mention] Job, when he called to his Lord, "Indeed, adversity has touched me, and you are the Most Merciful of the merciful."

   فَٱسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُۥ فَكَشَفْنَا مَا بِهِۦ مِن ضُرٍّۢ ۖ وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُ أَهْلَهُۥ وَمِثْلَهُم مَّعَهُمْ رَحْمَةًۭ مِّنْ عِندِنَا وَذِكْرَىٰ لِلْعَٰبِدِينَ٨٤

   So We responded to him and removed what afflicted him of adversity. And We gave him [back] his family and the like thereof with them as mercy from Us and a reminder for the worshippers [of Allah].

   وَإِسْمَٰعِيلَ وَإِدْرِيسَ وَذَا ٱلْكِفْلِ ۖ كُلٌّۭ مِّنَ ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ٨٥

   And [mention] Ishmael and Idrees and Dhul-Kifl; all were of the patient.

   وَأَدْخَلْنَٰهُمْ فِى رَحْمَتِنَآ ۖ إِنَّهُم مِّنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ٨٦

   And We admitted them into Our mercy. Indeed, they were of the righteous.

   وَذَا ٱلنُّونِ إِذ ذَّهَبَ مُغَٰضِبًۭا فَظَنَّ أَن لَّن نَّقْدِرَ عَلَيْهِ فَنَادَىٰ فِى ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ أَن لَّآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنتَ سُبْحَٰنَكَ إِنِّى كُنتُ مِنَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ٨٧

   And [mention] the man of the fish, when he went off in anger and thought that We would not decree [anything] upon him. And he called out within the darknesses, "There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers."

   فَٱسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُۥ وَنَجَّيْنَٰهُ مِنَ ٱلْغَمِّ ۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ نُۨجِى ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ٨٨

   So We responded to him and saved him from the distress. And thus do We save the believers.

   وَزَكَرِيَّآ إِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُۥ رَبِّ لَا تَذَرْنِى فَرْدًۭا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ ٱلْوَٰرِثِينَ٨٩

   And [mention] Zechariah, when he called to his Lord, "My Lord, do not leave me alone [with no heir], while you are the best of inheritors."

   فَٱسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُۥ وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُۥ يَحْيَىٰ وَأَصْلَحْنَا لَهُۥ زَوْجَهُۥٓ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ يُسَٰرِعُونَ فِى ٱلْخَيْرَٰتِ وَيَدْعُونَنَا رَغَبًۭا وَرَهَبًۭا ۖ وَكَانُوا۟ لَنَا خَٰشِعِينَ٩٠

   So We responded to him, and We gave to him John, and amended for him his wife. Indeed, they used to hasten to good deeds and supplicate Us in hope and fear, and they were to Us humbly submissive.

   وَٱلَّتِىٓ أَحْصَنَتْ فَرْجَهَا فَنَفَخْنَا فِيهَا مِن رُّوحِنَا وَجَعَلْنَٰهَا وَٱبْنَهَآ ءَايَةًۭ لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَ٩١

   And [mention] the one who guarded her chastity, so We blew into her [garment] through Our angel [Gabriel], and We made her and her son a sign for the worlds.

   إِنَّ هَٰذِهِۦٓ أُمَّتُكُمْ أُمَّةًۭ وَٰحِدَةًۭ وَأَنَا۠ رَبُّكُمْ فَٱعْبُدُونِ٩٢

   Indeed this, your religion, is one religion, and I am your Lord, so worship Me.

   وَتَقَطَّعُوٓا۟ أَمْرَهُم بَيْنَهُمْ ۖ كُلٌّ إِلَيْنَا رَٰجِعُونَ٩٣

   And [yet] they divided their affair among themselves, [but] all to Us will return.

   فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌۭ فَلَا كُفْرَانَ لِسَعْيِهِۦ وَإِنَّا لَهُۥ كَٰتِبُونَ٩٤

   So whoever does righteous deeds while he is a believer - no denial will there be for his effort, and indeed We, of it, are recorders.

   وَحَرَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ قَرْيَةٍ أَهْلَكْنَٰهَآ أَنَّهُمْ لَا يَرْجِعُونَ٩٥

   And there is prohibition upon [the people of] a city which We have destroyed that they will [ever] return

   حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا فُتِحَتْ يَأْجُوجُ وَمَأْجُوجُ وَهُم مِّن كُلِّ حَدَبٍۢ يَنسِلُونَ٩٦

   Until when [the dam of] Gog and Magog has been opened and they, from every elevation, descend

   وَٱقْتَرَبَ ٱلْوَعْدُ ٱلْحَقُّ فَإِذَا هِىَ شَٰخِصَةٌ أَبْصَٰرُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ يَٰوَيْلَنَا قَدْ كُنَّا فِى غَفْلَةٍۢ مِّنْ هَٰذَا بَلْ كُنَّا ظَٰلِمِينَ٩٧

   And [when] the true promise has approached; then suddenly the eyes of those who disbelieved will be staring [in horror, while they say], "O woe to us; we had been unmindful of this; rather, we were wrongdoers."

   إِنَّكُمْ وَمَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ حَصَبُ جَهَنَّمَ أَنتُمْ لَهَا وَٰرِدُونَ٩٨

   Indeed, you [disbelievers] and what you worship other than Allah are the firewood of Hell. You will be coming to [enter] it.

   لَوْ كَانَ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ ءَالِهَةًۭ مَّا وَرَدُوهَا ۖ وَكُلٌّۭ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ٩٩

   Had these [false deities] been [actual] gods, they would not have come to it, but all are eternal therein.

   لَهُمْ فِيهَا زَفِيرٌۭ وَهُمْ فِيهَا لَا يَسْمَعُونَ١٠٠

   For them therein is heavy sighing, and they therein will not hear.

   إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ سَبَقَتْ لَهُم مِّنَّا ٱلْحُسْنَىٰٓ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ عَنْهَا مُبْعَدُونَ١٠١

   Indeed, those for whom the best [reward] has preceded from Us - they are from it far removed.

   لَا يَسْمَعُونَ حَسِيسَهَا ۖ وَهُمْ فِى مَا ٱشْتَهَتْ أَنفُسُهُمْ خَٰلِدُونَ١٠٢

   They will not hear its sound, while they are, in that which their souls desire, abiding eternally.

   لَا يَحْزُنُهُمُ ٱلْفَزَعُ ٱلْأَكْبَرُ وَتَتَلَقَّىٰهُمُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ هَٰذَا يَوْمُكُمُ ٱلَّذِى كُنتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ١٠٣

   They will not be grieved by the greatest terror, and the angels will meet them, [saying], "This is your Day which you have been promised" -

   يَوْمَ نَطْوِى ٱلسَّمَآءَ كَطَىِّ ٱلسِّجِلِّ لِلْكُتُبِ ۚ كَمَا بَدَأْنَآ أَوَّلَ خَلْقٍۢ نُّعِيدُهُۥ ۚ وَعْدًا عَلَيْنَآ ۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا فَٰعِلِينَ١٠٤

   The Day when We will fold the heaven like the folding of a [written] sheet for the records. As We began the first creation, We will repeat it. [That is] a promise binding upon Us. Indeed, We will do it.

   وَلَقَدْ كَتَبْنَا فِى ٱلزَّبُورِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ ٱلذِّكْرِ أَنَّ ٱلْأَرْضَ يَرِثُهَا عِبَادِىَ ٱلصَّٰلِحُونَ١٠٥

   And We have already written in the book [of Psalms] after the [previous] mention that the land [of Paradise] is inherited by My righteous servants.

   إِنَّ فِى هَٰذَا لَبَلَٰغًۭا لِّقَوْمٍ عَٰبِدِينَ١٠٦

   Indeed, in this [Qur'an] is notification for a worshipping people.

   وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَٰكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةًۭ لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَ١٠٧

   And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds.

   قُلْ إِنَّمَا يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَىَّ أَنَّمَآ إِلَٰهُكُمْ إِلَٰهٌۭ وَٰحِدٌۭ ۖ فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّسْلِمُونَ١٠٨

   Say, "It is only revealed to me that your god is but one God; so will you be Muslims [in submission to Him]?"

   فَإِن تَوَلَّوْا۟ فَقُلْ ءَاذَنتُكُمْ عَلَىٰ سَوَآءٍۢ ۖ وَإِنْ أَدْرِىٓ أَقَرِيبٌ أَم بَعِيدٌۭ مَّا تُوعَدُونَ١٠٩

   But if they turn away, then say, "I have announced to [all of] you equally. And I know not whether near or far is that which you are promised.

   إِنَّهُۥ يَعْلَمُ ٱلْجَهْرَ مِنَ ٱلْقَوْلِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تَكْتُمُونَ١١٠

   Indeed, He knows what is declared of speech, and He knows what you conceal.

   وَإِنْ أَدْرِى لَعَلَّهُۥ فِتْنَةٌۭ لَّكُمْ وَمَتَٰعٌ إِلَىٰ حِينٍۢ١١١

   And I know not; perhaps it is a trial for you and enjoyment for a time."

   قَٰلَ رَبِّ ٱحْكُم بِٱلْحَقِّ ۗ وَرَبُّنَا ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ ٱلْمُسْتَعَانُ عَلَىٰ مَا تَصِفُونَ١١٢

   [The Prophet] has said, "My Lord, judge [between us] in truth. And our Lord is the Most Merciful, the one whose help is sought against that which you describe."

2. Maghrib

   18:06

   Maryam 83–98

   Read the passage · Maryam 83–98

   أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَا ٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ عَلَى ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ تَؤُزُّهُمْ أَزًّۭا٨٣

   Do you not see that We have sent the devils upon the disbelievers, inciting them to [evil] with [constant] incitement?

   فَلَا تَعْجَلْ عَلَيْهِمْ ۖ إِنَّمَا نَعُدُّ لَهُمْ عَدًّۭا٨٤

   So be not impatient over them. We only count out to them a [limited] number.

   يَوْمَ نَحْشُرُ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ إِلَى ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ وَفْدًۭا٨٥

   On the Day We will gather the righteous to the Most Merciful as a delegation

   وَنَسُوقُ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ وِرْدًۭا٨٦

   And will drive the criminals to Hell in thirst

   لَّا يَمْلِكُونَ ٱلشَّفَٰعَةَ إِلَّا مَنِ ٱتَّخَذَ عِندَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ عَهْدًۭا٨٧

   None will have [power of] intercession except he who had taken from the Most Merciful a covenant.

   وَقَالُوا۟ ٱتَّخَذَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ وَلَدًۭا٨٨

   And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son."

   لَّقَدْ جِئْتُمْ شَيْـًٔا إِدًّۭا٨٩

   You have done an atrocious thing.

   تَكَادُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ يَتَفَطَّرْنَ مِنْهُ وَتَنشَقُّ ٱلْأَرْضُ وَتَخِرُّ ٱلْجِبَالُ هَدًّا٩٠

   The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation

   أَن دَعَوْا۟ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ وَلَدًۭا٩١

   That they attribute to the Most Merciful a son.

   وَمَا يَنۢبَغِى لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ أَن يَتَّخِذَ وَلَدًا٩٢

   And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son.

   إِن كُلُّ مَن فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ إِلَّآ ءَاتِى ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ عَبْدًۭا٩٣

   There is no one in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant.

   لَّقَدْ أَحْصَىٰهُمْ وَعَدَّهُمْ عَدًّۭا٩٤

   He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting.

   وَكُلُّهُمْ ءَاتِيهِ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ فَرْدًا٩٥

   And all of them are coming to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone.

   إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ سَيَجْعَلُ لَهُمُ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ وُدًّۭا٩٦

   Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - the Most Merciful will appoint for them affection.

   فَإِنَّمَا يَسَّرْنَٰهُ بِلِسَانِكَ لِتُبَشِّرَ بِهِ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ وَتُنذِرَ بِهِۦ قَوْمًۭا لُّدًّۭا٩٧

   So, [O Muhammad], We have only made Qur'an easy in the Arabic language that you may give good tidings thereby to the righteous and warn thereby a hostile people.

   وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّن قَرْنٍ هَلْ تُحِسُّ مِنْهُم مِّنْ أَحَدٍ أَوْ تَسْمَعُ لَهُمْ رِكْزًۢا٩٨

   And how many have We destroyed before them of generations? Do you perceive of them anyone or hear from them a sound?

3. Isha

   19:36

   Al-Infitaar and Al-A'laa

   Read the passage · Al-Infitaar

   بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

   إِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ ٱنفَطَرَتْ١

   When the sky breaks apart

   وَإِذَا ٱلْكَوَاكِبُ ٱنتَثَرَتْ٢

   And when the stars fall, scattering,

   وَإِذَا ٱلْبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتْ٣

   And when the seas are erupted

   وَإِذَا ٱلْقُبُورُ بُعْثِرَتْ٤

   And when the [contents of] graves are scattered,

   عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌۭ مَّا قَدَّمَتْ وَأَخَّرَتْ٥

   A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back.

   يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ ٱلْكَرِيمِ٦

   O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous,

   ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكَ فَسَوَّىٰكَ فَعَدَلَكَ٧

   Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you?

   فِىٓ أَىِّ صُورَةٍۢ مَّا شَآءَ رَكَّبَكَ٨

   In whatever form He willed has He assembled you.

   كَلَّا بَلْ تُكَذِّبُونَ بِٱلدِّينِ٩

   No! But you deny the Recompense.

   وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ لَحَٰفِظِينَ١٠

   And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers,

   كِرَامًۭا كَٰتِبِينَ١١

   Noble and recording;

   يَعْلَمُونَ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ١٢

   They know whatever you do.

   إِنَّ ٱلْأَبْرَارَ لَفِى نَعِيمٍۢ١٣

   Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure,

   وَإِنَّ ٱلْفُجَّارَ لَفِى جَحِيمٍۢ١٤

   And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire.

   يَصْلَوْنَهَا يَوْمَ ٱلدِّينِ١٥

   They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense,

   وَمَا هُمْ عَنْهَا بِغَآئِبِينَ١٦

   And never therefrom will they be absent.

   وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ١٧

   And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense?

   ثُمَّ مَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ١٨

   Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense?

   يَوْمَ لَا تَمْلِكُ نَفْسٌۭ لِّنَفْسٍۢ شَيْـًۭٔا ۖ وَٱلْأَمْرُ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلَّهِ١٩

   It is the Day when a soul will not possess for another soul [power to do] a thing; and the command, that Day, is [entirely] with Allah.

   Read the passage · Al-A'laa

   بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

   سَبِّحِ ٱسْمَ رَبِّكَ ٱلْأَعْلَى١

   Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High,

   ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ٢

   Who created and proportioned

   وَٱلَّذِى قَدَّرَ فَهَدَىٰ٣

   And who destined and [then] guided

   وَٱلَّذِىٓ أَخْرَجَ ٱلْمَرْعَىٰ٤

   And who brings out the pasture

   فَجَعَلَهُۥ غُثَآءً أَحْوَىٰ٥

   And [then] makes it black stubble.

   سَنُقْرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنسَىٰٓ٦

   We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget,

   إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ يَعْلَمُ ٱلْجَهْرَ وَمَا يَخْفَىٰ٧

   Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden.

   وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلْيُسْرَىٰ٨

   And We will ease you toward ease.

   فَذَكِّرْ إِن نَّفَعَتِ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ٩

   So remind, if the reminder should benefit;

   سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَن يَخْشَىٰ١٠

   He who fears [Allah] will be reminded.

   وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا ٱلْأَشْقَى١١

   But the wretched one will avoid it -

   ٱلَّذِى يَصْلَى ٱلنَّارَ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰ١٢

   [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire,

   ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحْيَىٰ١٣

   Neither dying therein nor living.

   قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن تَزَكَّىٰ١٤

   He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself

   وَذَكَرَ ٱسْمَ رَبِّهِۦ فَصَلَّىٰ١٥

   And mentions the name of his Lord and prays.

   بَلْ تُؤْثِرُونَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا١٦

   But you prefer the worldly life,

   وَٱلْءَاخِرَةُ خَيْرٌۭ وَأَبْقَىٰٓ١٧

   While the Hereafter is better and more enduring.

   إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَفِى ٱلصُّحُفِ ٱلْأُولَىٰ١٨

   Indeed, this is in the former scriptures,

   صُحُفِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ١٩

   The scriptures of Abraham and Moses.
