1. Fajr

   Al-Mutaffifin and Ash-Shams

   Read the passage · Al-Mutaffifin

   بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

   وَيْلٌۭ لِّلْمُطَفِّفِينَ١

   Woe to those who give less [than due],

   ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ٱكْتَالُوا۟ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ يَسْتَوْفُونَ٢

   Who, when they take a measure from people, take in full.

   وَإِذَا كَالُوهُمْ أَو وَّزَنُوهُمْ يُخْسِرُونَ٣

   But if they give by measure or by weight to them, they cause loss.

   أَلَا يَظُنُّ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَنَّهُم مَّبْعُوثُونَ٤

   Do they not think that they will be resurrected

   لِيَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍۢ٥

   For a tremendous Day -

   يَوْمَ يَقُومُ ٱلنَّاسُ لِرَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ٦

   The Day when mankind will stand before the Lord of the worlds?

   كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَٰبَ ٱلْفُجَّارِ لَفِى سِجِّينٍۢ٧

   No! Indeed, the record of the wicked is in sijjeen.

   وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا سِجِّينٌۭ٨

   And what can make you know what is sijjeen?

   كِتَٰبٌۭ مَّرْقُومٌۭ٩

   It is [their destination recorded in] a register inscribed.

   وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ١٠

   Woe, that Day, to the deniers,

   ٱلَّذِينَ يُكَذِّبُونَ بِيَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ١١

   Who deny the Day of Recompense.

   وَمَا يُكَذِّبُ بِهِۦٓ إِلَّا كُلُّ مُعْتَدٍ أَثِيمٍ١٢

   And none deny it except every sinful transgressor.

   إِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ ءَايَٰتُنَا قَالَ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ١٣

   When Our verses are recited to him, he says, "Legends of the former peoples."

   كَلَّا ۖ بَلْ ۜ رَانَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ١٤

   No! Rather, the stain has covered their hearts of that which they were earning.

   كَلَّآ إِنَّهُمْ عَن رَّبِّهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لَّمَحْجُوبُونَ١٥

   No! Indeed, from their Lord, that Day, they will be partitioned.

   ثُمَّ إِنَّهُمْ لَصَالُوا۟ ٱلْجَحِيمِ١٦

   Then indeed, they will [enter and] burn in Hellfire.

   ثُمَّ يُقَالُ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِى كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ١٧

   Then it will be said [to them], "This is what you used to deny."

   كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَٰبَ ٱلْأَبْرَارِ لَفِى عِلِّيِّينَ١٨

   No! Indeed, the record of the righteous is in 'illiyyun.

   وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا عِلِّيُّونَ١٩

   And what can make you know what is 'illiyyun?

   كِتَٰبٌۭ مَّرْقُومٌۭ٢٠

   It is [their destination recorded in] a register inscribed

   يَشْهَدُهُ ٱلْمُقَرَّبُونَ٢١

   Which is witnessed by those brought near [to Allah].

   إِنَّ ٱلْأَبْرَارَ لَفِى نَعِيمٍ٢٢

   Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure

   عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ يَنظُرُونَ٢٣

   On adorned couches, observing.

   تَعْرِفُ فِى وُجُوهِهِمْ نَضْرَةَ ٱلنَّعِيمِ٢٤

   You will recognize in their faces the radiance of pleasure.

   يُسْقَوْنَ مِن رَّحِيقٍۢ مَّخْتُومٍ٢٥

   They will be given to drink [pure] wine [which was] sealed.

   خِتَٰمُهُۥ مِسْكٌۭ ۚ وَفِى ذَٰلِكَ فَلْيَتَنَافَسِ ٱلْمُتَنَٰفِسُونَ٢٦

   The last of it is musk. So for this let the competitors compete.

   وَمِزَاجُهُۥ مِن تَسْنِيمٍ٢٧

   And its mixture is of Tasneem,

   عَيْنًۭا يَشْرَبُ بِهَا ٱلْمُقَرَّبُونَ٢٨

   A spring from which those near [to Allah] drink.

   إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ أَجْرَمُوا۟ كَانُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ يَضْحَكُونَ٢٩

   Indeed, those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed.

   وَإِذَا مَرُّوا۟ بِهِمْ يَتَغَامَزُونَ٣٠

   And when they passed by them, they would exchange derisive glances.

   وَإِذَا ٱنقَلَبُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِمُ ٱنقَلَبُوا۟ فَكِهِينَ٣١

   And when they returned to their people, they would return jesting.

   وَإِذَا رَأَوْهُمْ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ لَضَآلُّونَ٣٢

   And when they saw them, they would say, "Indeed, those are truly lost."

   وَمَآ أُرْسِلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِمْ حَٰفِظِينَ٣٣

   But they had not been sent as guardians over them.

   فَٱلْيَوْمَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلْكُفَّارِ يَضْحَكُونَ٣٤

   So Today those who believed are laughing at the disbelievers,

   عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ يَنظُرُونَ٣٥

   On adorned couches, observing.

   هَلْ ثُوِّبَ ٱلْكُفَّارُ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَفْعَلُونَ٣٦

   Have the disbelievers [not] been rewarded [this Day] for what they used to do?

   Read Surah Al-Mutaffifin →

   Read the passage · Ash-Shams

   بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

   وَٱلشَّمْسِ وَضُحَىٰهَا١

   By the sun and its brightness

   وَٱلْقَمَرِ إِذَا تَلَىٰهَا٢

   And [by] the moon when it follows it

   وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا جَلَّىٰهَا٣

   And [by] the day when it displays it

   وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَىٰهَا٤

   And [by] the night when it covers it

   وَٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا بَنَىٰهَا٥

   And [by] the sky and He who constructed it

   وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا طَحَىٰهَا٦

   And [by] the earth and He who spread it

   وَنَفْسٍۢ وَمَا سَوَّىٰهَا٧

   And [by] the soul and He who proportioned it

   فَأَلْهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقْوَىٰهَا٨

   And inspired it [with discernment of] its wickedness and its righteousness,

   قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن زَكَّىٰهَا٩

   He has succeeded who purifies it,

   وَقَدْ خَابَ مَن دَسَّىٰهَا١٠

   And he has failed who instills it [with corruption].

   كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ بِطَغْوَىٰهَآ١١

   Thamud denied [their prophet] by reason of their transgression,

   إِذِ ٱنۢبَعَثَ أَشْقَىٰهَا١٢

   When the most wretched of them was sent forth.

   فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ نَاقَةَ ٱللَّهِ وَسُقْيَٰهَا١٣

   And the messenger of Allah [Salih] said to them, "[Do not harm] the she-camel of Allah or [prevent her from] her drink."

   فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَعَقَرُوهَا فَدَمْدَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّهُم بِذَنۢبِهِمْ فَسَوَّىٰهَا١٤

   But they denied him and hamstrung her. So their Lord brought down upon them destruction for their sin and made it equal [upon all of them].

   وَلَا يَخَافُ عُقْبَٰهَا١٥

   And He does not fear the consequence thereof.

2. Maghrib

   18:37

   Ad-Dhuhaa and Al-Kawthar

   Read the passage · Ad-Dhuhaa

   بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

   وَٱلضُّحَىٰ١

   By the morning brightness

   وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا سَجَىٰ٢

   And [by] the night when it covers with darkness,

   مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰ٣

   Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you].

   وَلَلْءَاخِرَةُ خَيْرٌۭ لَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْأُولَىٰ٤

   And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life].

   وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَىٰٓ٥

   And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied.

   أَلَمْ يَجِدْكَ يَتِيمًۭا فَـَٔاوَىٰ٦

   Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge?

   وَوَجَدَكَ ضَآلًّۭا فَهَدَىٰ٧

   And He found you lost and guided [you],

   وَوَجَدَكَ عَآئِلًۭا فَأَغْنَىٰ٨

   And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient.

   فَأَمَّا ٱلْيَتِيمَ فَلَا تَقْهَرْ٩

   So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him].

   وَأَمَّا ٱلسَّآئِلَ فَلَا تَنْهَرْ١٠

   And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him].

   وَأَمَّا بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثْ١١

   But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it].

   Read the passage · Al-Kawthar

   بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

   إِنَّآ أَعْطَيْنَٰكَ ٱلْكَوْثَرَ١

   Indeed, We have granted you, [O Muhammad], al-Kawthar.

   فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَٱنْحَرْ٢

   So pray to your Lord and sacrifice [to Him alone].

   إِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ ٱلْأَبْتَرُ٣

   Indeed, your enemy is the one cut off.
