Read the passage · At-Taariq
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
وَٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلطَّارِقِ١
By the sky and the night comer -
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلطَّارِقُ٢
And what can make you know what is the night comer?
ٱلنَّجْمُ ٱلثَّاقِبُ٣
It is the piercing star -
إِن كُلُّ نَفْسٍۢ لَّمَّا عَلَيْهَا حَافِظٌۭ٤
There is no soul but that it has over it a protector.
فَلْيَنظُرِ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ مِمَّ خُلِقَ٥
So let man observe from what he was created.
خُلِقَ مِن مَّآءٍۢ دَافِقٍۢ٦
He was created from a fluid, ejected,
يَخْرُجُ مِنۢ بَيْنِ ٱلصُّلْبِ وَٱلتَّرَآئِبِ٧
Emerging from between the backbone and the ribs.
إِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ رَجْعِهِۦ لَقَادِرٌۭ٨
Indeed, Allah, to return him [to life], is Able.
يَوْمَ تُبْلَى ٱلسَّرَآئِرُ٩
The Day when secrets will be put on trial,
فَمَا لَهُۥ مِن قُوَّةٍۢ وَلَا نَاصِرٍۢ١٠
Then man will have no power or any helper.
وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلرَّجْعِ١١
By the sky which returns [rain]
وَٱلْأَرْضِ ذَاتِ ٱلصَّدْعِ١٢
And [by] the earth which cracks open,
إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوْلٌۭ فَصْلٌۭ١٣
Indeed, the Qur'an is a decisive statement,
وَمَا هُوَ بِٱلْهَزْلِ١٤
And it is not amusement.
إِنَّهُمْ يَكِيدُونَ كَيْدًۭا١٥
Indeed, they are planning a plan,
وَأَكِيدُ كَيْدًۭا١٦
But I am planning a plan.
فَمَهِّلِ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ أَمْهِلْهُمْ رُوَيْدًۢا١٧
So allow time for the disbelievers. Leave them awhile.
Read the passage · Al-Aadiyaat
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
وَٱلْعَٰدِيَٰتِ ضَبْحًۭا١
By the racers, panting,
فَٱلْمُورِيَٰتِ قَدْحًۭا٢
And the producers of sparks [when] striking
فَٱلْمُغِيرَٰتِ صُبْحًۭا٣
And the chargers at dawn,
فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِۦ نَقْعًۭا٤
Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust,
فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِۦ جَمْعًا٥
Arriving thereby in the center collectively,
إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٌۭ٦
Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful.
وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌۭ٧
And indeed, he is to that a witness.
وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ٨
And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense.
۞ أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِى ٱلْقُبُورِ٩
But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered
وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِى ٱلصُّدُورِ١٠
And that within the breasts is obtained,
إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لَّخَبِيرٌۢ١١
Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted.

Where this comes from
Each prayer's imam, passage and recording are listed by the Haramain library, Tilawat al-Haramain (tilawatalharamain.com), usually within a few hours of the prayer. Its titles are written by hand; Hasanah reads the surahs and ayat from them.
The ayat by rak'ah come from Hasanah's live tracker, which listens to the Quran channel's broadcast from the Haram and names each ayah as it is recited. It has kept them since 25 September 2026. It can miss an ayah or mishear one, so a passage it heard may be a little shorter or longer than the one recited.
Dhuhr and Asr are prayed silently, so there is no recitation to show for them. Times are calculated for Makkah by the Umm al-Qura method.
