   Read the passage · An-Nisaa 58–68

   ۞ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَأْمُرُكُمْ أَن تُؤَدُّوا۟ ٱلْأَمَٰنَٰتِ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهَا وَإِذَا حَكَمْتُم بَيْنَ ٱلنَّاسِ أَن تَحْكُمُوا۟ بِٱلْعَدْلِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ نِعِمَّا يَعِظُكُم بِهِۦٓ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ سَمِيعًۢا بَصِيرًۭا٥٨

   Indeed, Allah commands you to render trusts to whom they are due and when you judge between people to judge with justice. Excellent is that which Allah instructs you. Indeed, Allah is ever Hearing and Seeing.

   يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَطِيعُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا۟ ٱلرَّسُولَ وَأُو۟لِى ٱلْأَمْرِ مِنكُمْ ۖ فَإِن تَنَٰزَعْتُمْ فِى شَىْءٍۢ فَرُدُّوهُ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَٱلرَّسُولِ إِن كُنتُمْ تُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْءَاخِرِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌۭ وَأَحْسَنُ تَأْوِيلًا٥٩

   O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you. And if you disagree over anything, refer it to Allah and the Messenger, if you should believe in Allah and the Last Day. That is the best [way] and best in result.

   أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ يَزْعُمُونَ أَنَّهُمْ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ مِن قَبْلِكَ يُرِيدُونَ أَن يَتَحَاكَمُوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱلطَّٰغُوتِ وَقَدْ أُمِرُوٓا۟ أَن يَكْفُرُوا۟ بِهِۦ وَيُرِيدُ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ أَن يُضِلَّهُمْ ضَلَٰلًۢا بَعِيدًۭا٦٠

   Have you not seen those who claim to have believed in what was revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what was revealed before you? They wish to refer legislation to Taghut, while they were commanded to reject it; and Satan wishes to lead them far astray.

   وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْا۟ إِلَىٰ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ وَإِلَى ٱلرَّسُولِ رَأَيْتَ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ يَصُدُّونَ عَنكَ صُدُودًۭا٦١

   And when it is said to them, "Come to what Allah has revealed and to the Messenger," you see the hypocrites turning away from you in aversion.

   فَكَيْفَ إِذَآ أَصَٰبَتْهُم مُّصِيبَةٌۢ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ ثُمَّ جَآءُوكَ يَحْلِفُونَ بِٱللَّهِ إِنْ أَرَدْنَآ إِلَّآ إِحْسَٰنًۭا وَتَوْفِيقًا٦٢

   So how [will it be] when disaster strikes them because of what their hands have put forth and then they come to you swearing by Allah, "We intended nothing but good conduct and accommodation."

   أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَعْلَمُ ٱللَّهُ مَا فِى قُلُوبِهِمْ فَأَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ وَعِظْهُمْ وَقُل لَّهُمْ فِىٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ قَوْلًۢا بَلِيغًۭا٦٣

   Those are the ones of whom Allah knows what is in their hearts, so turn away from them but admonish them and speak to them a far-reaching word.

   وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا لِيُطَاعَ بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ إِذ ظَّلَمُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ جَآءُوكَ فَٱسْتَغْفَرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَٱسْتَغْفَرَ لَهُمُ ٱلرَّسُولُ لَوَجَدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ تَوَّابًۭا رَّحِيمًۭا٦٤

   And We did not send any messenger except to be obeyed by permission of Allah. And if, when they wronged themselves, they had come to you, [O Muhammad], and asked forgiveness of Allah and the Messenger had asked forgiveness for them, they would have found Allah Accepting of repentance and Merciful.

   فَلَا وَرَبِّكَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ حَتَّىٰ يُحَكِّمُوكَ فِيمَا شَجَرَ بَيْنَهُمْ ثُمَّ لَا يَجِدُوا۟ فِىٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ حَرَجًۭا مِّمَّا قَضَيْتَ وَيُسَلِّمُوا۟ تَسْلِيمًۭا٦٥

   But no, by your Lord, they will not [truly] believe until they make you, [O Muhammad], judge concerning that over which they dispute among themselves and then find within themselves no discomfort from what you have judged and submit in [full, willing] submission.

   وَلَوْ أَنَّا كَتَبْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ أَنِ ٱقْتُلُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَكُمْ أَوِ ٱخْرُجُوا۟ مِن دِيَٰرِكُم مَّا فَعَلُوهُ إِلَّا قَلِيلٌۭ مِّنْهُمْ ۖ وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ فَعَلُوا۟ مَا يُوعَظُونَ بِهِۦ لَكَانَ خَيْرًۭا لَّهُمْ وَأَشَدَّ تَثْبِيتًۭا٦٦

   And if We had decreed upon them, "Kill yourselves" or "Leave your homes," they would not have done it, except for a few of them. But if they had done what they were instructed, it would have been better for them and a firmer position [for them in faith].

   وَإِذًۭا لَّءَاتَيْنَٰهُم مِّن لَّدُنَّآ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًۭا٦٧

   And then We would have given them from Us a great reward.

   وَلَهَدَيْنَٰهُمْ صِرَٰطًۭا مُّسْتَقِيمًۭا٦٨

   And We would have guided them to a straight path.

   Read the passage · Al-Furqaan 53–59

   ۞ وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى مَرَجَ ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ هَٰذَا عَذْبٌۭ فُرَاتٌۭ وَهَٰذَا مِلْحٌ أُجَاجٌۭ وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخًۭا وَحِجْرًۭا مَّحْجُورًۭا٥٣

   And it is He who has released [simultaneously] the two seas, one fresh and sweet and one salty and bitter, and He placed between them a barrier and prohibiting partition.

   وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ مِنَ ٱلْمَآءِ بَشَرًۭا فَجَعَلَهُۥ نَسَبًۭا وَصِهْرًۭا ۗ وَكَانَ رَبُّكَ قَدِيرًۭا٥٤

   And it is He who has created from water a human being and made him [a relative by] lineage and marriage. And ever is your Lord competent [concerning creation].

   وَيَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَنفَعُهُمْ وَلَا يَضُرُّهُمْ ۗ وَكَانَ ٱلْكَافِرُ عَلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ ظَهِيرًۭا٥٥

   But they worship rather than Allah that which does not benefit them or harm them, and the disbeliever is ever, against his Lord, an assistant [to Satan].

   وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَٰكَ إِلَّا مُبَشِّرًۭا وَنَذِيرًۭا٥٦

   And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a bringer of good tidings and a warner.

   قُلْ مَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ إِلَّا مَن شَآءَ أَن يَتَّخِذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ سَبِيلًۭا٥٧

   Say, "I do not ask of you for it any payment - only that whoever wills might take to his Lord a way."

   وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱلْحَىِّ ٱلَّذِى لَا يَمُوتُ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِهِۦ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِهِۦ بِذُنُوبِ عِبَادِهِۦ خَبِيرًا٥٨

   And rely upon the Ever-Living who does not die, and exalt [Allah] with His praise. And sufficient is He to be, with the sins of His servants, Acquainted -

   ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِى سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍۢ ثُمَّ ٱسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْعَرْشِ ۚ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ فَسْـَٔلْ بِهِۦ خَبِيرًۭا٥٩

   He who created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in six days and then established Himself above the Throne - the Most Merciful, so ask about Him one well informed.

3. Isha

   20:37

   Al-A'laa and At-Tin

   Read the passage · Al-A'laa

   بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

   سَبِّحِ ٱسْمَ رَبِّكَ ٱلْأَعْلَى١

   Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High,

   ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ٢

   Who created and proportioned

   وَٱلَّذِى قَدَّرَ فَهَدَىٰ٣

   And who destined and [then] guided

   وَٱلَّذِىٓ أَخْرَجَ ٱلْمَرْعَىٰ٤

   And who brings out the pasture

   فَجَعَلَهُۥ غُثَآءً أَحْوَىٰ٥

   And [then] makes it black stubble.

   سَنُقْرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنسَىٰٓ٦

   We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget,

   إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ يَعْلَمُ ٱلْجَهْرَ وَمَا يَخْفَىٰ٧

   Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden.

   وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلْيُسْرَىٰ٨

   And We will ease you toward ease.

   فَذَكِّرْ إِن نَّفَعَتِ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ٩

   So remind, if the reminder should benefit;

   سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَن يَخْشَىٰ١٠

   He who fears [Allah] will be reminded.

   وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا ٱلْأَشْقَى١١

   But the wretched one will avoid it -

   ٱلَّذِى يَصْلَى ٱلنَّارَ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰ١٢

   [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire,

   ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحْيَىٰ١٣

   Neither dying therein nor living.

   قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن تَزَكَّىٰ١٤

   He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself

   وَذَكَرَ ٱسْمَ رَبِّهِۦ فَصَلَّىٰ١٥

   And mentions the name of his Lord and prays.

   بَلْ تُؤْثِرُونَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا١٦

   But you prefer the worldly life,

   وَٱلْءَاخِرَةُ خَيْرٌۭ وَأَبْقَىٰٓ١٧

   While the Hereafter is better and more enduring.

   إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَفِى ٱلصُّحُفِ ٱلْأُولَىٰ١٨

   Indeed, this is in the former scriptures,

   صُحُفِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ١٩

   The scriptures of Abraham and Moses.

   Read the passage · At-Tin

   بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

   وَٱلتِّينِ وَٱلزَّيْتُونِ١

   By the fig and the olive

   وَطُورِ سِينِينَ٢

   And [by] Mount Sinai

   وَهَٰذَا ٱلْبَلَدِ ٱلْأَمِينِ٣

   And [by] this secure city [Makkah],

   لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ فِىٓ أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍۢ٤

   We have certainly created man in the best of stature;

   ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَٰهُ أَسْفَلَ سَٰفِلِينَ٥

   Then We return him to the lowest of the low,

   إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍۢ٦

   Except for those who believe and do righteous deeds, for they will have a reward uninterrupted.

   فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِٱلدِّينِ٧

   So what yet causes you to deny the Recompense?

   أَلَيْسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ ٱلْحَٰكِمِينَ٨

   Is not Allah the most just of judges?
