   Read the passage · Yaseen 55–83

   إِنَّ أَصْحَٰبَ ٱلْجَنَّةِ ٱلْيَوْمَ فِى شُغُلٍۢ فَٰكِهُونَ٥٥

   Indeed the companions of Paradise, that Day, will be amused in [joyful] occupation -

   هُمْ وَأَزْوَٰجُهُمْ فِى ظِلَٰلٍ عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ مُتَّكِـُٔونَ٥٦

   They and their spouses - in shade, reclining on adorned couches.

   لَهُمْ فِيهَا فَٰكِهَةٌۭ وَلَهُم مَّا يَدَّعُونَ٥٧

   For them therein is fruit, and for them is whatever they request [or wish]

   سَلَٰمٌۭ قَوْلًۭا مِّن رَّبٍّۢ رَّحِيمٍۢ٥٨

   [And] "Peace," a word from a Merciful Lord.

   وَٱمْتَٰزُوا۟ ٱلْيَوْمَ أَيُّهَا ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ٥٩

   [Then He will say], "But stand apart today, you criminals.

   ۞ أَلَمْ أَعْهَدْ إِلَيْكُمْ يَٰبَنِىٓ ءَادَمَ أَن لَّا تَعْبُدُوا۟ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنَ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّۭ مُّبِينٌۭ٦٠

   Did I not enjoin upon you, O children of Adam, that you not worship Satan - [for] indeed, he is to you a clear enemy -

   وَأَنِ ٱعْبُدُونِى ۚ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطٌۭ مُّسْتَقِيمٌۭ٦١

   And that you worship [only] Me? This is a straight path.

   وَلَقَدْ أَضَلَّ مِنكُمْ جِبِلًّۭا كَثِيرًا ۖ أَفَلَمْ تَكُونُوا۟ تَعْقِلُونَ٦٢

   And he had already led astray from among you much of creation, so did you not use reason?

   هَٰذِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ ٱلَّتِى كُنتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ٦٣

   This is the Hellfire which you were promised.

   ٱصْلَوْهَا ٱلْيَوْمَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ٦٤

   [Enter to] burn therein today for what you used to deny."

   ٱلْيَوْمَ نَخْتِمُ عَلَىٰٓ أَفْوَٰهِهِمْ وَتُكَلِّمُنَآ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَتَشْهَدُ أَرْجُلُهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ٦٥

   That Day, We will seal over their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will testify about what they used to earn.

   وَلَوْ نَشَآءُ لَطَمَسْنَا عَلَىٰٓ أَعْيُنِهِمْ فَٱسْتَبَقُوا۟ ٱلصِّرَٰطَ فَأَنَّىٰ يُبْصِرُونَ٦٦

   And if We willed, We could have obliterated their eyes, and they would race to [find] the path, and how could they see?

   وَلَوْ نَشَآءُ لَمَسَخْنَٰهُمْ عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِهِمْ فَمَا ٱسْتَطَٰعُوا۟ مُضِيًّۭا وَلَا يَرْجِعُونَ٦٧

   And if We willed, We could have deformed them, [paralyzing them] in their places so they would not be able to proceed, nor could they return.

   وَمَن نُّعَمِّرْهُ نُنَكِّسْهُ فِى ٱلْخَلْقِ ۖ أَفَلَا يَعْقِلُونَ٦٨

   And he to whom We grant long life We reverse in creation; so will they not understand?

   وَمَا عَلَّمْنَٰهُ ٱلشِّعْرَ وَمَا يَنۢبَغِى لَهُۥٓ ۚ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌۭ وَقُرْءَانٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ٦٩

   And We did not give Prophet Muhammad, knowledge of poetry, nor is it befitting for him. It is not but a message and a clear Qur'an

   لِّيُنذِرَ مَن كَانَ حَيًّۭا وَيَحِقَّ ٱلْقَوْلُ عَلَى ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ٧٠

   To warn whoever is alive and justify the word against the disbelievers.

   أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَا لَهُم مِّمَّا عَمِلَتْ أَيْدِينَآ أَنْعَٰمًۭا فَهُمْ لَهَا مَٰلِكُونَ٧١

   Do they not see that We have created for them from what Our hands have made, grazing livestock, and [then] they are their owners?

   وَذَلَّلْنَٰهَا لَهُمْ فَمِنْهَا رَكُوبُهُمْ وَمِنْهَا يَأْكُلُونَ٧٢

   And We have tamed them for them, so some of them they ride, and some of them they eat.

   وَلَهُمْ فِيهَا مَنَٰفِعُ وَمَشَارِبُ ۖ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ٧٣

   And for them therein are [other] benefits and drinks, so will they not be grateful?

   وَٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ءَالِهَةًۭ لَّعَلَّهُمْ يُنصَرُونَ٧٤

   But they have taken besides Allah [false] deities that perhaps they would be helped.

   لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ نَصْرَهُمْ وَهُمْ لَهُمْ جُندٌۭ مُّحْضَرُونَ٧٥

   They are not able to help them, and they [themselves] are for them soldiers in attendance.

   فَلَا يَحْزُنكَ قَوْلُهُمْ ۘ إِنَّا نَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ٧٦

   So let not their speech grieve you. Indeed, We know what they conceal and what they declare.

   أَوَلَمْ يَرَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَٰهُ مِن نُّطْفَةٍۢ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ٧٧

   Does man not consider that We created him from a [mere] sperm-drop - then at once he is a clear adversary?

   وَضَرَبَ لَنَا مَثَلًۭا وَنَسِىَ خَلْقَهُۥ ۖ قَالَ مَن يُحْىِ ٱلْعِظَٰمَ وَهِىَ رَمِيمٌۭ٧٨

   And he presents for Us an example and forgets his [own] creation. He says, "Who will give life to bones while they are disintegrated?"

   قُلْ يُحْيِيهَا ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنشَأَهَآ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍۢ ۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ خَلْقٍ عَلِيمٌ٧٩

   Say, "He will give them life who produced them the first time; and He is, of all creation, Knowing."

   ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلشَّجَرِ ٱلْأَخْضَرِ نَارًۭا فَإِذَآ أَنتُم مِّنْهُ تُوقِدُونَ٨٠

   [It is] He who made for you from the green tree, fire, and then from it you ignite.

   أَوَلَيْسَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ بِقَٰدِرٍ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يَخْلُقَ مِثْلَهُم ۚ بَلَىٰ وَهُوَ ٱلْخَلَّٰقُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ٨١

   Is not He who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the likes of them? Yes, [it is so]; and He is the Knowing Creator.

   إِنَّمَآ أَمْرُهُۥٓ إِذَآ أَرَادَ شَيْـًٔا أَن يَقُولَ لَهُۥ كُن فَيَكُونُ٨٢

   His command is only when He intends a thing that He says to it, "Be," and it is.

   فَسُبْحَٰنَ ٱلَّذِى بِيَدِهِۦ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ٨٣

   So exalted is He in whose hand is the realm of all things, and to Him you will be returned.

2. Maghrib

   18:14

   Ash-Sharh and At-Tin

   Read the passage · Ash-Sharh

   بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

   أَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ١

   Did We not expand for you, [O Muhammad], your breast?

   وَوَضَعْنَا عَنكَ وِزْرَكَ٢

   And We removed from you your burden

   ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنقَضَ ظَهْرَكَ٣

   Which had weighed upon your back

   وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ٤

   And raised high for you your repute.

   فَإِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا٥

   For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease.

   إِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًۭا٦

   Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease.

   فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَٱنصَبْ٧

   So when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for worship].

   وَإِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَٱرْغَب٨

   And to your Lord direct [your] longing.

   Read the passage · At-Tin

   بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

   وَٱلتِّينِ وَٱلزَّيْتُونِ١

   By the fig and the olive

   وَطُورِ سِينِينَ٢

   And [by] Mount Sinai

   وَهَٰذَا ٱلْبَلَدِ ٱلْأَمِينِ٣

   And [by] this secure city [Makkah],

   لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ فِىٓ أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍۢ٤

   We have certainly created man in the best of stature;

   ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَٰهُ أَسْفَلَ سَٰفِلِينَ٥

   Then We return him to the lowest of the low,

   إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍۢ٦

   Except for those who believe and do righteous deeds, for they will have a reward uninterrupted.

   فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِٱلدِّينِ٧

   So what yet causes you to deny the Recompense?

   أَلَيْسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ ٱلْحَٰكِمِينَ٨

   Is not Allah the most just of judges?

3. Isha

   19:44

   Read the passage · Al-Lail

   بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

   وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَىٰ١

   By the night when it covers

   وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا تَجَلَّىٰ٢

   And [by] the day when it appears

   وَمَا خَلَقَ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلْأُنثَىٰٓ٣

   And [by] He who created the male and female,

   إِنَّ سَعْيَكُمْ لَشَتَّىٰ٤

   Indeed, your efforts are diverse.

   فَأَمَّا مَنْ أَعْطَىٰ وَٱتَّقَىٰ٥

   As for he who gives and fears Allah

   وَصَدَّقَ بِٱلْحُسْنَىٰ٦

   And believes in the best [reward],

   فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ لِلْيُسْرَىٰ٧

   We will ease him toward ease.

   وَأَمَّا مَنۢ بَخِلَ وَٱسْتَغْنَىٰ٨

   But as for he who withholds and considers himself free of need

   وَكَذَّبَ بِٱلْحُسْنَىٰ٩

   And denies the best [reward],

   فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ لِلْعُسْرَىٰ١٠

   We will ease him toward difficulty.

   وَمَا يُغْنِى عَنْهُ مَالُهُۥٓ إِذَا تَرَدَّىٰٓ١١

   And what will his wealth avail him when he falls?

   إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا لَلْهُدَىٰ١٢

   Indeed, [incumbent] upon Us is guidance.

   وَإِنَّ لَنَا لَلْءَاخِرَةَ وَٱلْأُولَىٰ١٣

   And indeed, to Us belongs the Hereafter and the first [life].

   فَأَنذَرْتُكُمْ نَارًۭا تَلَظَّىٰ١٤

   So I have warned you of a Fire which is blazing.

   لَا يَصْلَىٰهَآ إِلَّا ٱلْأَشْقَى١٥

   None will [enter to] burn therein except the most wretched one.

   ٱلَّذِى كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ١٦

   Who had denied and turned away.

   وَسَيُجَنَّبُهَا ٱلْأَتْقَى١٧

   But the righteous one will avoid it -

   ٱلَّذِى يُؤْتِى مَالَهُۥ يَتَزَكَّىٰ١٨

   [He] who gives [from] his wealth to purify himself

   وَمَا لِأَحَدٍ عِندَهُۥ مِن نِّعْمَةٍۢ تُجْزَىٰٓ١٩

   And not [giving] for anyone who has [done him] a favor to be rewarded

   إِلَّا ٱبْتِغَآءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّهِ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ٢٠

   But only seeking the countenance of his Lord, Most High.

   وَلَسَوْفَ يَرْضَىٰ٢١

   And he is going to be satisfied.

   Read Surah Al-Lail →

   Read the passage · Az-Zalzala

   بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

   إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا١

   When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake

   وَأَخْرَجَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا٢

   And the earth discharges its burdens

   وَقَالَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ مَا لَهَا٣

   And man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" -

   يَوْمَئِذٍۢ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا٤

   That Day, it will report its news

   بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَىٰ لَهَا٥

   Because your Lord has commanded it.

   يَوْمَئِذٍۢ يَصْدُرُ ٱلنَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًۭا لِّيُرَوْا۟ أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ٦

   That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds.

   فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًۭا يَرَهُۥ٧

   So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it,

   وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍۢ شَرًّۭا يَرَهُۥ٨

   And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it.
